Messages from Survivors in Florida

In January 2023, Memory Project Productions co-founders Roz Jacobs and Laurie Weisman launched the Messages From Survivors exhibit at the Association of Holocaust Organizations (AHO) Winter Conference in Miami, Florida.

The launch was a success with an enthusiastic response from other conference attendees, including the Holocaust Education and Resource Center (HERC) who has partnered with the Florida Department of Education to bring Messages from Survivors to multiple schools in the Tallahassee area. Students have responded overwhelmingly well to the exhibit saying:

“The personal stories were very captivating, heartbreaking, and worked well in humanizing the victims and grounding their experiences in reality.”

“The info was very educational and well organized, bringing awareness to an important piece of history.”

“I liked hearing the stories to understand what truly happened from their perspective.”
