Calkins Road Middle School

We recently heard from Stephanie Warchol, a teacher at Calkins Road Middle School in New York. She held a Memory Project workshop for her students who are collaborating with students in Israel. She sent us the beautiful portraits that her class created and said:

"I first learned about this project at the 2017 NYSATA conference and finally implemented the project this school year. I have a seventh grade class collaborating with a school in Israel and it seemed like a great connection. The results were fantastic and the work was impactful based on the student’s reflections. Thank you!"

Thank you Stephanie for your kind words and for sharing these wonderful portraits with us!
